OnTarget TDS v6.06

A new version of OnTarget TDS has been released. TDS version 6.06 has a few minor changes to improve the workflow and fix some minor issues.
  • TDS will no longer prompt for the target number when using the "Open From Scanner" button.
  • The aim point size will use the user defined value from the options screen for non-TDS targets.
  • Corrected a few issues in the auto-brightness tool that could cause TDS to crash.
As always, there is no charge for TDS updates. Install the program on your system and if the splash screen appears, send the Registration Number and I'll return your new unlock key.

OnTarget v1.10

The following information is quoted directly from the OnTarget Shooting website.

As of February 15, 2017, the OnTarget Precision Calculator v1.10 is no longer available for download.
The decision to stop distributing OnTarget v1.10 was not made lightly. Since first becoming available in 2008, OnTarget programs have been very well received and successful. The programs have been downloaded and used by thousands of shooters to measure the performance of their firearms, components, and shooting ability. A big part of that success has been v1.10, the freeware version. It was the ultimate "try before you buy" package and was the gateway for numerous users to move up to other versions of OnTarget programs.
OnTarget v1.10 was released in April of 2008 and was, for many years, very stable and bug free. However, due to changes and advancements in hardware, technology, and the Windows family of operating systems, it has become increasingly difficult to support new installations.
For these reasons, as of February 15, 2017, the v1.10 installation package has been removed from the OnTarget Shooting website, and OnTarget Software will no longer support new installations of the OnTarget Precision Calculator v1.10 program.
If you currently have OnTarget v1.10 installed on your system you may continue using it at no charge, per the original licensing agreement.
Please note: OnTarget Precision Calculator version 1.10 is owned and copyrighted by Jeffrey Block and OnTarget Software LLC, and is no longer being distributed. Jeffrey Block and OnTarget Software LLC will not be responsible for the integrity, safety, or usability of the installation package received from any other source.

As you can see, the free version of the OnTarget Precision Calculator will no longer be available for download. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me at OnTarget Software.

Thanks,

Jeff

OnTarget Precision Calculator v2.25

A new version of the OnTarget Precision Calculator is available from the OnTarget website.

This is the first new release since version 2.10 became available in February 2011. I had originally planned to provide regular updates, but a very short-term contract position turned into a long-term position, leaving me little time for OnTarget development. Thankfully v2.10 was very stable, and I was able to correct most issues on a case-by-case basis. I'm currently between contracts and I've used this time to roll up all the changes into version 2.25.

Version 2.25 contains improvements and bug fixes that were implemented over the last six years, including:

  • Disabled the "Server Busy" message that appeared on some systems during scanning.
  • Improve font sizing and spacing when printing the project.
  • Corrected a few issues with data export.
  • Added selection for Minute Of Angle (MOA) / Milliradians (mil) selection.
  • The .tgx project files are now cross compatible with the OnTarget TDS program.
  • Updated Help system.

There is no upgrade charge for registered users of v2.10, please go to the OnTarget FAQ web page for more information on the upgrade process.

Current development efforts include a new version of the OnTarget TDS program, along with several new projects in the next couple months.

Thanks for supporting OnTarget!
